World will end in 2012

Scientific experts from around the world are predicting that 2 years from now, all life on Earth could well finish. Some are saying it will be humans that set it off. Others believe that a natural phenomenon will be the cause. And the religion folks are saying it will be God himself who presses the stop button.
The first mob to predict 2012 as the end of the world were the Mayans. Thousands of years ago they managed to calculate the length of the lunar moon as 329.53020 days, only 34 seconds out. The Mayan calendar predicts that Earth will end on December 21, 2012. Given that they were pretty close to the mark with the lunar cycle, it is likely they have got the end of the world right as well.
Interpretations of the Christian Bible reveal that the date for Armageddon, the final battle between God and Evil, has been set down for 2012.

I'm afraind no scientific expert has predicted such a thing as the end of the world in the year 2010 
I think people got paranoid because of that movie about the same topic, the end of the world in the year 2010 -spoiler: in the movie the world didn't end in the end-, but it wasn't even a good movie to begin with. I wouldn't worry too much, as the end of the world has been predicted countless times since I was born and we're still here and alive, isn't it?

A lot of disaster occurs in ASIA already such as China, Taiwan, and Philippine.
You may have heard about global warming. It seems that in the last 100 years the earth's temperature has increased about half a degree Celsius.
This may not sound like much, but even half a degree can have an effect on our planet.
Now, the Arctic polar ice cap is melting quickly, which can cause severe flood.
If no one going to stop it, I think our planet will become Water World in the future.

I really hope that our planet could become Water World in which we would be unable to use our vehicles anymore(those are increasing in number everyday on road).
I think that flood is the only nature way of preventing global warming getting worst.

i don't believe that its just only guest,,its not true,,its up to you to believe that,,but for me thats not true,,,according to the bible,,the world has no ending,,its God well,,,

Now, you can see that the Arctic polar ice cap is melting. Melting icebergs can triggering glacier earthquakes and severe flood.
A lot of disaster already occurs, especially in ASIA countries such as China, Taiwan and Philippine, these disaster is not stop and still continuing.
I think this might be a signal of ending the world.
Anyway, I also hope that this is not true...

Hi lxho, I'm sorry but no scientific expert has predicted that the world will end in 2012. There is a lot of interest in the Mayan Calendar but most of the stories being circulated just aren't true. Some people are making a lot of money by writing books about this and they sell because people are scared of what will happen. The end of this world for all of us will be when we die. Don't worry about 2012. Blessings.

The experts say that it'll happen many years down the road but I don't think that's the case. I have a strong feeling that 2012 will be doomsday. Well, never mind, we just have to live our lives properly and just do whatever things we like to do, so that we'll have no regrets when we die.

These are baseless unscientific rumours which needs to be ignored.
If any scientific expert has predicted such thing, then he should also have explained the basis for the same. Because scientists derive conclusions from definite and verifiable experiments and they just do not come out of such baseless predictions without any grounds.

It is a complete waste of time for anyone to try and predict when the world will end because no one knows. A lot of people thought the world would end in the year 2000 (Y2K) and yet still we are here.
The truth is only God has the answer to that question. No amount of scientific experiment will prove to be true as to when the end will be. Scientists are saying the end will be on December 21, 2012. The truth is it will probably be before or after that time just for the mere fact that people are trying to figure out when it will be.
It is not true, the end will not be on December 21, 2012.

No one knows. Many movies were out to play that the end of the world is near. There is 2012 movie depicting a story of the new Noah's ark indicating that a natural phenomenon will come. However, no one can really tell that unless it happens. It will only be confirmed when 2012 comes.

If 2012 is the end of world, then I accept the truth. I agree that the God must punish the human those who is so selfish in destroying the earth by cutting forest for timbers. Making air enviroment so dusty by setting factory, building, vehicle and many many else. It is what human deserve.

If this 2012 is come to disaster is real, we can do some precautions to save our life.
We can start store our food. save some petrol for vehicle and if possible buy a small ship to be used during huge flood.
Disaster is other experience for human who must face it as result of our damage done to the world. It is the consequences to human unless we know how to start preserving the world without delaying.

So it is best to do the best today then think of tomorrow. If there is any tomorrow for us then tomorrow will bring new hope for us. So 2012 is the end of the world is not so important but how we you the days that are gifted to us is more countable.
