Are your close friends younger, same age, or older than you are?

I don't choose friends, friends chose me to build an even deeper friendships. The term friendship is by all means an effortless and unnatural process of involvement, it comes nothing but similarities in interests, same wavelenght of thoughts and emotions, and an endearing connection between two or more individuals.
As I age, I had much opportunities meeting different people from all walks of life, knowing them in some instance, young, old, and age age groups. However, more often than not, it's the younger groups, say, 8-10 years my junior whom I get along and be much closer with. My real and genuine friends who are there through good and tough times are from these bracket. These are the people who have supported me and still continue to remain beautiful friends inside and out. Friends who are much younger (than me)happened to be the easiest persona to talk with, argue, and share with.
Days pass, I still continue to develop friendships, and the irony of it, these are 10 years younger than I am. I can say that I glued much on them, rather than in other age groups..

I have all kind of friend, older, younger or same ages.
But my very best friend is same age with me, because we were friend since junior high or elementry school.
I like hang out with all kind of people. I like to meet new people too.

That makes me remember my old friend back in high school, and up to now we still are in touch. I miss our bonding moments then, so ironic that even we were then seeking the first honors, we didn't let academic competition ruin our friendships.. oh, i miss that friend..

I never seemed to have had a lot of friends that were my age. They were always older or younger than i was. i like people for who they are. The age really didn't matter to me.1 person likes this

Younger or older friends, for as long as they are true and genuine finds, it really doesn't matter. What is important is you have them and that they accept you for what you are...

I honestly doesn't care about the age as long as we can get along well together. My friends ranges from younger than my age or older and quite a few who are same age like me. I used to work with age groups of 13-20 years olds who usually comfort me as well in ways, we exchange messages through text and we see each other as well. My best friend though is the same age as I am, we usually go along with enjoying each other's company especially if we have time together in the weekend.

Exactly, as long as you get to get along so well and find the same likes and wants, that's the start of an even deeper relationship....
friendship should be a compliment for each other, readiness to support and be there for your friend in times of her down moments..

I have 2-3 closer friends and they are of my age. So I always enjoy with them and also share many problems with the. Because I think it is good to share your problems with your close friends and you may get solution of your problems. So I always like to share everything with my some closer friends.

Friends are gold especially when they are there for us all the time...I share alot to my closest friends as well, my burden becomes lighter when i let emotions out of my mind..I love it when they show concern and care alot!!

I have many friends.Some of them are older then me, younger than me and the same with my age.Age doesn't matter to me.As long as we're happy being together,wherever,whenever we are,still we're the best of all friends.:D

I have freinds of all age groups.. my mom for instance is one fo my best freinds
i have a best freind that is a couple of years older then me and i have a best freind that is a couple of years younger then me and my hubby is 6 y ears younger them me..

I have many friends,friends i have since high school days,frineds from work and etc.I have friends same of my age i also have have friends older than me 10 years or more.Some i met at work but became good friends of mine.

I have friends with different ages, some younger and some of my same age. I don't really care bout ones age, what's important is that we love doing the same things when we hang out together. Also nowadays, because of technology, it is safe to know that what a mature person knows, younger person also know those things so generation gap is not much of a problem for me.

I have a lot of friends. It doesn't matter if they're older or younger than me. As long as they're easy to get a long. I add them on my friends list. Choosing friends is not by the age. It's by the attitude of a person. As long as i could help them, and they can help me. And always remember that it always has a limit.

I have friends who are both older and younger than me. There is not a 10 year gap either way though. The age difference is only a few years.

My close friend is the most nice friend in this world because she can be with me all the time. I think i'm almost falling in love with her hope so. :)
My friend is same age with me and she had her birthday last august 22 and i think she's already 18 now.

most of my friends are at the same age as me. i don't deny the fact that we can make friends with someone younger or older than we are, but i prefer to believe that it will be easier for us to communicate with friends at the same age. due to generation gap, it's sometimes difficult for us to interact with people who are much younger or older.

I am 37 years old right now but i don't limit my self being friends only with my age group, i got friends that are teenagers, i got friends that are older than my father, there's just no limit.

My real, true friends are my age. I mean sure they may be a few months older/younger, but they are born within a 1- 1.5 year span. This is different from the girls I date. They tend to be younger. I feel this is because even though I am quite mature, girls who are younger than me have the same maturity as me.. where as women my age have a bit more... aging to them (in reference to their maturity). Back the to friendship thing. My friends who are younger than me tend to look up to me and feel me as a closer friend than I see them. Almost opposite for my older friends is that they expect me to contact ALL THE TIME to work my way to be considered a close friend of theirs. So back to my original answer. I typically have closest friends that are the same age as me. Or at least pretty close to my age.
