Do you think that dog is the man's best friend?

I don't know about a man, but a cat is a woman's best friend, at least that is how I view it. However, I do not like to have a pet as that would throw a monkey wrench into my habit of going places all of the time. Pets like their humans to have a routine, like feeding time, etc. I do not like a routine.

Well dogs is the easiest animal to domesticate. They are very loyal. So definitely their are men's best friend.

For me yes there's many do that but for me it is not it is friend only.

I don't think the creator of the saying "dog is man's best friend" if there wasn't some truth in the statement. Happy dogs have loving natures and are loyal to their owners when treated with loving care. One can say |if you look after me then I will look after you". But the opposite can also be true and dog can be your worst nightmare, as I'm sure that all of us have heard of people that had been attacked by dogs. Sad as it may be this usually happens when the dog/dogs had been treated badly and neglected. But a well look after and cared for dog definitely wins hands down in being your best friend, even if you should accidently lash out at your dog when in a bad mood or for what ever reason, your dog will always forgive you and return to your side with no recriminations.

yes i love dog more than cat, with dogs we can even teach them about doing this and that while in cat it is different and sometimes it is hard to teach them

I do think the same as you do. Dogs are indeed mans best friend. This saying comes from so many decades. And it has reached till us because it is the truth after all. Dogs have more understanding towards us then any other pet has now may it be cat or a parrot or something else. They show up their emotions as we do. However we can talk and express but it is not the case with them. Dog has always been helpful to humans. Now may it be guarding our home or guarding a farmers cattle. If one realizes its importance, in todays world it does a more important job unknowingly. You see when you come back from office, you are very much stressed, but as soon as you enter the door, it comes on us and plays with us. Our expressions immediately change when it comes over us, even we become excited and start playing with it. The stress is vanished in no time. This enhances our life. It helps us being away from diseases like heart attack, and other stress related diseases. Moreover, you can spend time with your dog, play with it, teach it things, which it will do. Am I right or not.

Totally agree with you, the 2 things i think amazing is their happiness and loyalty. Sometimes i come back home stressed or sad because of something and seems my dog sense it, and try to make me feel better, don't ask me how they sense it, i just know they do, about the loyalty there is no need to comment, threat a dog welland he will gonna be yours forever.

I totally agree, 100%, that dog is man's best friend. I have a cat and 2 dogs,i have this kitten just a few months and i am still in the learning process.And yes i have learned that cats just wants food and that's all , well at least the rodents doesnt come visit my house anymore. (^_^) But my two dogs, oh they are my bodyguards. I can sleep better at night knowing that even if im deeply in slumber, they can sense if there's danger at night.Well they are good guards at daytime too. When i look at my dogs straight in the eyes, i see a soul ready to risk its life for me , no matter what it costs. I love my dogs soooo much.And i will make sure no harm will come to them.

Dog is the best pet animal. But how did you manage to pet dog and a cat. Dont they fight! haha.. Dogs are more loyal and in terms of security they are more reliable. SO, dog are best pet.

At least,i can ensure that the dog is Loyalty to people all over the world.The dog will welcome you when you go home,it also flow you when you go out.When you feel tired,the dog will accompany you beside you.

Yes, i think dogs are one of the most intelligent animals, and commited to their master, and they are very protective. They get to love their master, and to listen their master, and if someone plans to hurt their master they are quite agressive and protective.

Surely, I also have a pet dog and she is so sweet, she's the best friend of every one in our family. When we will be home and she just left at home she really felt sad and alone, but if the whole member of the family is just at home she will play with us also, she acts like a real human being.. We are so afraid maybe someday our dog will be gone,as in gone at all.. :(

Yes, think so because as what others says that the dog is a man's best friend and i also agree on that. But me i'm dogs i think it's because onetime my uncle's dog bite me in my legs.

As pet nothing can get better than a dog. All over the world dog is preferred to cat. Simply as you said that dog is a loyal friend. It never leaves you away in danger rather it can give away its life to save its master. If you search online you will get hundreds of stories like this all over the world. They are our friends since the dawn of civilization. I prefer dog as pet. They become a family member if you have one. It can understand you unlike cat. It loves all the members in your family. The relation between man and dog is far better than that of cat.
