What's your morning "PRE-work" ritual like?

Or are you like me, where you totally don't even have one? I would like to be one of those people who wake up an hour or two early and start to run. I think that sounds amazing, although I just don't think I can motivate myself to do so.
I usually get up about twenty minutes before I have to leave, and get ready in that short period of time - drink some coffee, put some makeup on, take the flat iron through my hair a few times.. And then run out. For some reason I'd much rather get an extra fourty minutes of sleep rather than wake up that much earlier and be that mcuh more prepared.
What about you?
What's your morning ritual like?

I also wake up in the last minute usually and have to rush to get to work. I wish I wasn't like this, but I have just had to face the fact that I am really not a morning person, and this is how that shows.

My morning routine pretty much stays the same every day. The only real time it changes is on mornings I have the chance to sleep in a little longer - then my "ritual" just gets bumped up a bit!
Every morning I wake up and first thing take a walk with my husband. If it's raining we just sleep in a little longer. After that I take a shower, get dressed, eat my breakfast and then spend a little bit of time online before I finish getting ready. After that I'm out the door! It's a pretty simple routine and takes me between 1 and 2 hours (depending on whether or not we take a walk in the AM.)

At the moment I start work very early and I have to leave the house at 3:30 a.m. My alarm clock rings at 3 a.m., but I usually hit the snooze button instead of leaving the bed right away. My bed is so nice and comfy and I usually get up up 15 minutes before I have to leave or something like that. At first I get dressed, put on some makeup and brush my teeth and my hair. I don't take a shower in the morning, I always do that in the evening so that I am able to sleep a little longer in the morning. Before I leave the house I take care of the pets, I feed them and make sure that they have access to fresh water and then I go to work.

I have a neighbor who is like that. No matter how early I leave the house, I would already see her running around the village for her morning jog.
I also would like to be like that, but I can't. My excuse is that my job is flexi-time. So the earlier I get to work and put in my eight hours, the earlier I could get off work in the afternoon. So, I'm always in a rush in the morning, however early I wake up.

I don't classify my pre-work activities as morning rituals because it's pretty much standard. I wake up, eat breakfast cooked by my mom, take a bath, then leave for office. Pretty boring huh? I'm always in a hurry so I have no time to do other tasks like exercise or enjoy my coffee. I drink coffee when I'm already in the office. I don't even have morning rituals on weekends 'coz that's when I catch up on sleep and wake up late. :p

I'm exactly like that too. I would love to take advantage of the morning but instead I find myself hitting the snooze button at least four times. I love being able to snuggle in my comfy bed and drift back to sleep a few times a lot more than I'd love getting an extra load of laundry or dishes in. Once I get up I brush my teeth, shower or straighten my hair, but on some make up, get dressed, make a cup of tea and fly out the door literally minutes before I have to be at work. Sometimes if I time it right I can stop and grab a coffee instead of making tea. I am not a fan of mornings either.

I used to jump right out the door when I lived by myself, but I still had what I called my morning routine: a 30 minute walk to the subway, time to listen to some energizing tunes (and it pretty much counted for my morning work out, too), then I bought coffee and pastry on the subway, and read a few pages before getting to work.
Now that I've moved back in with my family, I have to get up a bit earlier, and make breakfast and coffee for my grandfather, and fruit juice, when I'm in a good mood. And feed the stupid cat, because otherwise it can throw quite and tantrum and wake up the entire house.

Well, me things has changed since I had been paid by one the highest paying sites now. After I wake up I go to the bathroom and wash my face, brush my teeth and urinate and then go online work for an hour then breakfast then back to work. By lunch, I eat then work.

That's me too! I used to work in an office and I had the same routine as you. Sleep just seemed so much nicer to me than getting up early. My other half was always the type to get up two hours early and get 'settled' before heading to work and I could never understand how he was able to do that. I'd go to bed with the intention of doing the same, but it never happened. I guess we just are who we are and people like you and I appreciate the sleep more!

Well for me it depends on my gym workout schedule. If i'm doing light on the gym then i usually go for a run every morning around 5:30am up to 7:00am, i usually run 10-15K. This week i got to run once only because of the typhoon here in our country. Then if i'm going to do a lot and heavy workouts in the gym i usually don't wake up early. I intend to have a lot of sleep like 12-14hours. Base from my experience the more hours i sleep the stronger i get in the gym, my muscles also recover from the stress i got on the last workout. I don't do any stretching as well because i have to this when i go to the gym and if i'm running i got to this as well before i start running. You maybe wondering what am i doing the whole day? If i don't go to work? Of course i do! I'm a businessman, i own a gym and some agricultural business.
