I always write down my plans/ resolutions for the upcoming year, but somehow not all of them I manage to fulfil. Around 20% of all my resolutions came to life this year. Well, I still have two more months to go, so keep on working. What about you? Do you fulfil your New Years resolutions?

Great timing for this discussion! Because just yesterday, I started to look back at my resolutions, and I admit that I haven't been keeping it. Specially the part about exercising.
So, I did yesterday. I did some exercises again. Hopefully, this time it could go on until the end of the year.

I don't particularly have something like that every year. I don't even remember having one with the previous years that had already passed.
I do believe that I sometimes make goals that I want to achieve each year. Most of them don't really get fulfilled but, those that do get accomplished are really worth while. I don't put them down on a list, I just have a few that I wouldn't really forget that easily.
So far for this year, I still need to do a lot of work to fulfill a goal of mine.
Resolutions for me are like things that I have to do to improve myself. Like changing some habits or behaviors that I deem to be lacking or needs enhancement. Even though I know that everyone does pursue self improvement, I don't fancy making a checklist about it. Perhaps its laziness but, its really relieving to realize changes on yourself when you least expect it. (^_^")

oh my my sins of omission have caught up wi th me. Soleya I did not manage to completely fulfill my one and only resolution, lose sixty pounds,.But I did lose 25 pounds so maybe I can lose some more wei ght before New Years is upon us.I a m a diabetic and I really need to get down to 150, that way I can really control my blood sugar. I know that losing even 15 percent of your overweight will keep you in much better'control of your blood glucose. So I will keep right on making that one resolution and will try to do better in keeping it.

At one point in my life, I actually bothered with making New Year's Resolutions. However, I came to the same realization that many do. There is just too much chance of me not following up. I do a better job of following up things if I do not formalize them as New Year's Resolutions. Of course, what works for me, may not work for other people, but in general, that is how I go.
If you wish to get technical and this might count, I do intend to keep what might be considered to be a New Year's Resolution. That is not to make a New Year's Resolution for the next year. I think I have been doing this for five years. For those who have kept them time and time again, the legit New Year's Resolutions, I really salute you. You are in the minority for sure.

Anytime I have a new years resoloution, I fail. It usually has to do with eating healthy, but this world is filled with tasty junk food! Maybe this year I'll decide on having a resoloution I know I can commit to!
