Affiliating is this one way of earning money?

Has anyone of you tried affiliate programs? If you experienced this sort of thing can you tell me if it really gives you reasonable amount of money in your pocket? I have this site that is an affiliate program also here is my link http/bux4ad.com/236ba858.htm/ why don't try this one and tell others if it will give you lots of cash. But for me Mylot is the best site. How about you guys.......
