I know its hard to accept that someone you love is moody... it always ends up with no conversation eventhough you are in the same place... spending time with no "hi" or "hello"... it's weird...

you must know the person and what he/she likes or not so that you will know how to deal with it. for instance, when my bestfriend is moody i will bring her to a fudge place to dine. it will change her mood and later she will start a good talk.

i try to make him smile, i try to make jokes or to fool around to make him smile and forget the bad mood, i watch a comedy movie with him or, i take him for a walk and i try to talk with him about happy things, to make him forget the bad mood, but if nothing works, i leave him in peace until he comes to me.

I am moody especially when I have my premenstrual period (PMS) or when I have my period. But, I can manage that. My bf is very moody to. He easily have hot temperament on small things. He is easily gets irritated. Sometimes, what I do is just keep quiet and make him cool down. You are right, moods can lead to quarrel, so avoid it.

Partner?? Moody?? hmmm tough one... 1st of all i will try and make her smile with some silly jokes, try and make fun of her. who knows if she is good at heart she might ultimately smile. :) And if that fails, try and treat her, well not the best option when your partner is moody. If all fails, then leave him or her alone for sometime... they will automatically revert to you. Give them time to get themselves together. And most important be patient!

Between me & my partner, I am the one who usually has mood swings. When Im moody, I usually keep quiet & my partner will try to cheer me up. Eventually, he will try to talk to me to ask if something is wrong. He know for sure when I'm moody that something is bothering me. He will try to make me open up until I end up crying my feelings out till I feel better. You may wanna try talking to him, probably he feels the same. Something might be bothering him. Goodluck!
