I already have a request from a user who wants to learn Romanian.
I hope there may be another users eager to learn a new language.
So I'll start with the basics: Pronounciation.
Sounds in Romanian very rarely differ between words (i.e. the letter e is always pronounced the same, unlike in English).
Let's see the vowels first:
A - pronounced as o in English word son
E - pronounced as e in English word set
I - pronounced as y in English word party
O - pronounced as o in English word not
U - pronounced as ou in English word you
A - pronounced as er in English word better
Â,Î - pronounced as i in English word girl
C - as c in copy
CI - as chi in chief
CE - as che in chest
CHI - as the word key
CHE - as che in chemistry
G - as g in girl
GE - as ge in gender
GI - as gi in ginger
GHE - as ge in together
GHI - as gee in geese
J - as ge in garage
S - as s in sugar
T - as ts in its
