Did Sarah Almost Drop the "F-Bomb"?

This isn't an attack, I SWEAR it sounded to me like she almost did. This is what it says in the article below:
"You're turning our country toward our constitutional foundations," Palin told them. "You didn't let big government loving professional politicians and the complicit left-wing lamestream media tell you to sit down and shut up. You didn't retreat. You reloaded and you turned this country around.
This is what I heard, and I've seen and heard this replayed several times today:
"...tell you to sit down and shut the (f sound)...sit down and shut up."
I hope the video on the link below hasn't been edited (I still have no speakers!), but I definitely heard that f...sound before she backed up and repeated her last few words.

Vice President Biden made news when he "whispered" to the President during the signing of the health care bill. It really wasn't a big deal - "f-ing" or otherwise - because it was just our regular Joe, doing what he sometimes does. Actually, it really isn't that big a deal if Sarah Palin almost had a slip-up, not to ME anyway.
My question and my reason for starting this discussion is, if Sister Sarah actually did almost drop the F-bomb or if she ever actually DOES, will that tarnish her image in the eyes of her adoring fans? Will that mean she's not so pure and perfect after all or will it make her seem even more "authentic"?

...Hi annie, Nothing but nothing could make her into anything else but what her adoring fans see her as, they would love her even more. Can't you hear them saying if she had let it out "you go Sarah!" Bill Maher said on his show one night, that if white males were the only ones voting, Sarahlee would be president. They oogle after an idiot because she's "you betcha" cute. Sense doesn't matter or thought process. Looking forward to seeing how much she and her gang will screw up the country weven more if they all get in, with their nonsensical backward looking ideas. You go guys! Not going to be hard to anticipate as 3/4's of the country did not even realize they all got a tax cut last year. It's a sad situation. Take care.

Well, let ME be clear, it had absolutely nothing to do with my vote but IF I were forced to look at a politician in a swimsuit and had to vote for which one, I'd sure choose Obama over John McCain.
OMG...I think I just threw up in my mouth...now I've got this picture in my mind I can't get rid of...
SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE!! Make it go away!

Yes, the same way liberal women oggled Obama and voted for him because "let me be clear" they liked how he looks in a swimsuit.

I listened to that particular section three times while watching her mouth and never heard nor saw any "F" start to come out. She DID say "shut the....sit down and shut up", but I didn't see or hear any indication of an "F". It could just as easily have been an "H" as an "F" she was about to say, so I'm not going say anything on this one. Unless they did one hel1 of an edit job, but I don't have the skill to make that determination.

To me it sounded like she was going to say shut the f up but she stop herself before doing that. She says shut the and then there is a momentary stop where she is beginning to say something but her better judgement over ruled her mouth. Wish that better judgement would stop her mouth more often. Also what normally follows shut the? Just think about it, muck drop the m and substitutes it with a f.
Will this tarnish her image, Annie if nothing at this point has tarnished her image nothing will. If anything her dropping the occasional f bomb will only help her more as she can claim she is even more like everyone else.

Those were my thoughts exactly - what usually follows "shut the...", indeed? I also wish her better judgment - which she has little of - would stop her mouth more often! I'm afraid you're probably right about her image being tarnished. Her love-sick admirers can spin anything she says or does into something beautiful and pure.

Hi Anniepa,
I listened to it and yes, I agree with you. It sounds as if that little f-bomb may have been edited out but it sure sounded like an edit-moment to me. You know like when they edit music on the radio? That's what it sounded like. My opinion of anyone would never be changed by the use of that word. I wish they would stop being so concerned about their images and marital problems etc etc . I don't want to hear what their opponents are doing wrong. I want to hear what they will do right. An F bomb here and there probably wouldn't even register on my radar.

Oh and I have to add, I really don't care what comes out of her mouth...that woman has a very annoying voice! Sorry if you like her but I really was sitting on the edge of my seat listening to her talk and it wasn't because what she was saying was holding me captive. I just couldn't wait until it got to the part that pretty clearly got edited so that I could just shut it off.

It's a tough call because of who the speaker is. Palin's halting style of talking makes it pretty hard to tell if she stopped herself short of saying that word or if she was just speaking in her normal manner. In all honesty, although I am far from a fan, I couldn't care less if she used that word or not in that context.

I do not like Palin high screachy voice aso I have never paid much attention to what she says but I did play and listen to the link you posted and I did not hear what you describe...and I have very good speakers.
You must have special powers to be able to replay (and hear) this several times today on a device that has no speakers. Did you lip read the elusive "f" sound?????

i know you once managed to catch somebody out in a lie that nobody else had twigged, yet was really obvious once it was pointed out. that was impressive. however don't think it has happened here. i don't think the op has special powers. i think she has a tv.

people are going to start getting suspicious. anyway i am not sure that occasionally swearing is going to make any difference whatsoever to big palin's image. everybody swears sometimes. why, are the very conservative supposed to wash their mouths out with soap and water afterwards? or do they claim that they live PG lives?
