What activites do you enjoy during a Canadian winter?

Greetings!
Its starting to get awfully chilly at night here (I live just outside Sarnia oin Ontario), we haven't had to break down and turn the heat on yet but I'm sure its coming soon. Winter will soon be here. I am wondering what you do during the cold winter months? Do you get out and enjoy some skating, sledding, skiing etc? Or do you hide inside all winter? I tend to do alot of painting during the winter as I'm a bit of a wuss about the cold. Though last winter I went out tubing and sledding a couple of times and had a blast!I found winter was a lot nicer if you get out and enjoy it a bit!

I am from US Ohio. In the winter time i love to go snowboarding. I realized how much i love crown royal in the winter, theres nothing like staying in out of the cold with your friends and taking shots to get that warm feeling in your tummy! Winter is my favorite season!

I've never tried snowboarding, it looks like fun! Though I think I'd probably break a few bones (Though at least with a 26er of Crown Royal I wouldn't feel the pain! LOL)

oh yea, a little crown before you go snowboarding and your good to go! hahah. I always come back beat and bruised when I go snow boarding, but it is none the less fun. I just still wish i was invincible like when i was a youngster. Now that I am getting older I feel like gravity has a stronger effect on me. lol.

i really miss the winters in ohio. it very seldom gets cold here in az. but it does get pretty cold in mid winter. but you dont get the pretty and fun snow to go with the darn cold
i used to love going out with the kids and makeing snow men and laying down makeing snow angels, etc.
