Is it true that something good always comes out of every bad situation? I have experienced several bad situations over the past couple of years, and I have to say that most of them have made me stronger, or at least smarter somehow. I have learned new skills and ideas for making money, and for solving other problems. I have gotten better at tracking finances, and I have learned to deal with things quickly rather than putting it off. I have learned that I am a lot tougher and more resourceful than I thought I was.

Bad situations certainly do have a way of showing us that we are tougher than we thought. I always keep in mind that when one door closes that another one opens. I think that the trials we face in life do make us stronger and just when I think I can't take anymore bad stuff....something happens and I think...well...maybe a little more..lol..take care.

Have you ever heard the old saying every cloud has a silver lining?? Well it is a very true.. No matter how big the cloud may seem there is a silver lining... With each day, each expecince that passes.. we learn more about others, ourself, and the world around us... may not always be a pretty picture but knowledge is the key... and no matter how broke we may be, or lose all material possesions we will always have our knowledge...

I do tend to think that we as humans are always able to learn important lessons from those things that we experience in our lives. There have been a lot of bad experiences that I've faced in my life but as I look back on those experiences, I am always to see that there has been something good that has come out from everything. I think additionally that learning to accept these kinds of things are an important part of being a human being.

I believe that somehow, you really get good things out of bad situations. As you have mentioned, these are things that cannot bring you happiness in an instant but will eventually make you realize how important are these to your "growing up" process. It makes you smarter and tougher and even more braver in facing more problems in your life.

Im not sure thats always true. Sometimes it might be for the people around but not always for the person it happens to. As far as Im concerned, Id say that about 50% of the time, something good will come from a bad situation.

I have good experience about it...! I have been observing the situations of myself and my friends very closely and found that most of the times there are some positive aspects of things which look to be bad.
It is not so easy to look at the positive aspects of a thing that is looking bad for you and especially when you are in trouble, it is difficult to see even big things which are useful to you. However, one has to develop the habit of looking at the positive aspects of every situation. Many times we fail to perform some job but later on find that all others who had tried to do it had also failed and you could learn many things from failure too.
I lost some money in trying to learn to earn online as I could not understand that the site was a scam. But through that site I met someone who suggested me to be on mylot and I found to be very useful and enjoyable.
EVERY CLOUD HAS A SILVER LINING.

This sort of thing has happened to me may times. After passing high school i joined a Science college as that wa the normover 45 years back. I got only upto 2 yars and then shifted to Architecture, a subject virtually unknown at that time. Little did i know how much it would help me in the future. In 1978 i was diagonized with Musclular Dystrophy. My world literally collapsed around me but i took the news bravely and unflinchingly. After successfully completing my course and working in several firms, i was sent to the Gulf countru of Oman where i worked for 4 years. Many of my colleagues, who were in good health envied me as i went in a wheelchair and returned in a wheel chair. After my return i found that i could not move out of my house, so i started my own company with a partner, working from the confines of my house, something i would not have been able to do had i kept on with Science or engineering. I did not get married which also turned out to be a blessing in disguise as my it would have been an obstacle in the current situation which i find myself today. So all in all i think what would normally have been a bad situation did turn out better for me.

Yes, mistakes make us realize that what we did is wrong and never want to make it happen again, It makes us stronger and smarter. It helps us to be strong and patient. We all have to understand that problems will never disappear. Life is a battle. We have to fight on it. We have to be a fighter.

Yes!! I would say so. I agree with you, most of the mistakes I've made have made me a stronger person and have changed me (in a positive way). I think most of everything happens for a reason (no, I'm not religious) and that it's Life's way of testing us - yanno? What doesn't kill us will make us stronger!

Bad situations will happen to us throughout our lives. it is not something that we can control. Making something positive out of it is the best way of coping with it and finding the strength to move forward.

There is a positive side to everything I think. There are a lot of things in life that are going to be bad news. There are things where we wonder if there is going to be anything good that will ever come from this. I think that it is very hard to really find the positive side a lot of times. However, I think that it is there are times where it is hard, it is there.
So for every bad thing, there is something that we can learn from it. Experiences that can make us grow in life. That has to be something, doesn't it? So it will help us grow in life and it is going to help us. So I think that turning negativity into a positive will help people move through life. If there is so much negativity, you may find yourself crushed underneath the weight of it.

From time to time we all experience bad situations. These situations can break us or can strengthen us, it all depends on how we act to the bad situation. My mother had rheumatoid arthritis which is a very painful disease that attacks the joints, causing malformation of the joints especially the finger and toe joints. Her friends and our family often commented that one never heard my mother complain, she was always cheerful and busy. She lived her live as if she didn't have this painful disease and everyone admired her for her positive attitude. This is a powerful message that in spite of adversity we can still flourish and live a good life. It's all about a positive attitude. Sometimes we don't see the silver lining straight away, it may even take years and only upon reflection do we see the positive effect that specific bad situation had made in our lives. It actually depends on the individual, if you are willing to make the best of a bad situation, then you will always find the good and make it better.
