Does any on know the name of this horror movie?

So my bf and I have really been getting into the Halloween spirit of watching scary movies, lol. A couple of years back I watched this one movie that I cannot for the life of me remember the name to, and I was wondering if anyone could help me out. Synopsis: This girl is afraid to leave her house on her birthday, but her best friend talks her into going to a party. At the party she is drugged and dies (hitting her head in the bathroom I think). Then her spirit comes back and she is trapped in the house because there are "lost" spirits outside. There is this guy there that can see her that is a guide, sorta. But he is not what he seems. If anyone can help me out with this this would be great. Thanks

Oh, sorry... Why don't you just find other horror movies, there are tons of them. Some of them are also good, like urban legend and Trick 'r Treat.

I think you're talking about 'afterlife' starring christina ricci and liam neeson. That's a great movie. The guide is not really a guide but a psychopath. Nice pick.

Watched the trailer for this one after your post, and although it looks really good, it is not the one that I am looking for. No, I don't think that the one I am looking for has any really big names in it, except maybe one, but in a minor roll. Thank you for your response though.

Hey I read this synopsis and I don’t know which movie this is. Because I have also seen many horror movies but as you told the synopsis then I think I don’t watch this movie yet so I don’t know what is the name of this movie but I am always a big fan of horror movies.

Finally found it and watched it again tonight, it is called Left in Darkness. Still a really good movie for being a lower budget one.
