I think the Indonesian film industry has been pretty, at least there is progress, not all horror films, or films with themes of love teenagers. films with themes of education or nationalism, is also already appointed and attractive. hopefully future growing genre of films that educate and quality.

i agree with you indahfth that our film industries have a progress. do you remember "ada apa dengan cinta"? i think that movie was the moment of our film industry revival. after that movie, we can see other movies were produced. at that time, i think the producer produced movie based on market. people wants love movies, they produce them. people wants horror movies, they produce them. but now, producers also produce movies based on their idealism, such as movies for kids (garuda di dadaku), movies based on books (laskar pelangi, ketika cinta bertasbih etc), and others

Indonesia does not have the actress / actor movie that go international. There was only singer who crossed the globe of the world for its soundtrack alone. How far can fund the Investor Indonesia Indonesian film if without great benefits, all based on just how to make money a lot without thinking about the quality of films being made.
