How far have you come since you've been on mylot?

I became a very active member 4 years ago, although I disappeared from the site for couple of those. At least two years I haven't been as active and I feel I've come along way, as before I joined this place I didn't really feel apart of any community online and this place certainly felt like home. When I joined I was fairly new to parenthood, my son was very little. Since being away, my wife and I have had a daughter. We've brought our own house and focused on the little things. Looking back on how I was when I first joined I can see I've come along way and I've always enjoyed coming here because it's nice to see people who share similar values as myself. Often looking around, especially my friends list I recall when I first came into communication with certain members. It's a blessing for me, as I hold each one with extremely high regard.

i started this year i guess. but i wasn't so active. i am only active when i have no work or spare time and when my bf is back to London.

Well, it's been a while being associated with mylot. And it's been a lovely journey to express your thoughts and feelings with the medium of mylot. There was a time when I felt so bored and couldn't do anymore post on mylot. But after a long break, I am back as fresh and new to post more. I hope this feeling last for long with me.

Wow, you've been here quite a long time! I've been here for about a year and a half, I joined in February of 2008. Or 2009. I really can't remember. Ok, I just checked and it says 2009. So I was a freshman in college that year, I had just gotten out of high school. I did also have a boyfriend, who I finally broke things off with in about ~July of 09. I worked for the same company, although I was only doing part-time instead of full-time (but I was also going to school). I can't remember much else, but I get pretty nostalgic when I go back and see some of the discussions I've started.

Well it has only been a year but there have been some things changing in life. Some for the better, a couple unfortunately for the worse. However, I think that overall, I am in a much better place in life than I am in the past year. Perhaps it is because I have had this very visible Internet outlet to let off some steam a lot of the time but I think I am in a much better mood and have a bit more positive outlet on life. I think I am really in a better position in life. There are a lot of times where life tends to be difficult but I have pushed through. In many ways, myLot has offered me that outlet to relieve a lot of stress that builds up over an amount of the time. It just seems like a lifetime ago and almost a different life, but that just proves how quickly life goes and how quickly time passes over an amount of time.

Reading your own responses to mylot topics and the responses of other people to your own topics is very refreshing. I usually open old discussions which I have responded to just to check whether someone has commented back at my response. It would also bring back memories of the experiences you have shared with other myloters.

Now I am one year old member of mylot. I have joined this site in September 2009. So now one year passed. And I have joined this great site under in my one friend. In this one year I have learn many new things from this site. And also I have improves my way of thinking very much. So now I am habitual of this site and always like to works on this site.
