The situation is really very farcical. A few months back he claimed that he was happy at the greatest club and wanted a life long contract. Now that the contract is on the table he does not want to sign it. I am pretty sure that the riches of Man City could have a say in this change in heart!!
Let's see how this saga pans out.
Cheers!

i know and i agree with your analyze..
off course city with his much money want to take this chance..
rare chance for city..
but city think twice to bring rooney in city stadium because they had many good forward like tevez, adebayor, santa cruzz...
teves coming make riots in city squad i think..
so mancini must think carefully..
and i believe sir alex ferguson never want to seel rooney for city or chelsea..

I think that Ferguson is a strong personality, and so is Rooney as well. Maybe they cannot get along well and in this case the one who has to go is the player, because Ferguson will never be sacked by Manchester for what he has done for them, winning so many trophies with United. So if there is no way back between them, then I think that Manchester will sell Wayne and they will have to bring somebody for him. Maybe Sneijder, who knows?

Yes I think that Ferguson is untouchable and this is how it should be, because of the great performances he had there. A player will never be so appreciated there as he is, because of his loyalty and performances. Maybe he is a strong character and many players have had conflicts with him, but the trophies speak for him, and in football those are the best responses and arguments which a coach can have.
