"how to swim"?

I'm sorry my friend i can't teach you step by step on how to swim. But let me give you an advice instead. Well i grew up in a province where beach is just seconds away from our house. I'm good swimmer i can say, but the step by step on how to learn swimming i don't have those stuff. I learn how to swim simply because i had no choice at that time but to learn and survive. This happens when my older cousins brought me to the sea where we can't see the beach resorts or the land anymore. We were riding a boat then the moment they stopped they told me "remember one thing do not give up!" then they grabbed me and throw me on the water then they start moving the boat slowly so i wouldn't be able to hold on it. But you now what i did it, i can't even imagine until now how i did it but i really made it. Since then i already know hoe to use my feet, my hands, how to float my body, all of it just came in an instant after that incident. So that's reason why i can't tell you the steps on learning how to swim. But one advice only, "remember one thing do not give up". Not all things come easily on all people, maybe learning how to swim came easily to me but for some it came with like a battle to won. Try and try, i advice you try swimming pools first 'coz in most cases they have water level like 4feet or below then try higher water level then try swimming at the beach. Good luck my friend!

If you want to learn how to swim, you need to get over your fears and try. You can watch videos, but they're hard to learn from. I suggest you get an instructor to teach you, someone who knows how to swim. Or enroll in swimming lessons. (:
