"Have you tried using your loptop with out it's battery"?

There's a post I made at one of the forums about using the laptop without it's battery. I wasn't aware that not everyone knows about it so someone said I might be dreaming or something. Yes, I use my laptop without the battery while it's plugged to a power source, of course using the adapter or its charger. I use my laptop for longhours and I removed the battery to avoid overcharging it. I only use it when I go out or if there's no current.have you try it?
