Have you ever gone camping?

This is too funny! I just posted a discussion myself on camping because that's what we're doing today, packing up to go camping.... finally! We bought a new camper this summer and haven't used it yet because of so many things going on and now we're TAKING the time to finally go for seven days. No tent here, can't because I can't get in the sun because of having lupus. Besides, I like heat or a/c. LOL

I bet you can find five campers somewhere here on Mylot. Many of these newer tents just about pitch themselves. Just pop the polls and there they go up.

I have gone camping for many years until I had a family and the job limited my time off. I bought a time share so we could drive to a place and have everything ready when we got there. Nowwe tak the grandkids with us and it is much easier. If I were younger I would be camping.

I like to go camping. I have got a four man tent that I use these days. In the past I used a one man incredibly light tent. I have camped in Australia, New Zealand and Croatia. I last went camping two years ago. I took my disabled toddler son and two pet dogs. Now I have a baby daughter as well. This summer we moved so didn't get to go on a camping trip. Summer time is the only time suitable for camping in my home country because of the weather. I hope you find some camping companions.

The last line made me laugh. Maybe that's why you can't find 5 people to go with you? My husband and I camped in our back yard a few years ago. It was a really dry summer so almost no bugs. It was amazing how many things we forgot to bring and had to go back to the house to get. Washcloth (or any extra cloth), something to drink, and nothing for our teeth. Considering it had been a decade or more since either of us had camped, we thought we did pretty well. But we vowed to always camp in the backyard first, so we could figure out what we forgot and then go someplace else.

Well I remember going to a national camp where we used to live in camps Organised by youth welfare department in our University days. It was a great fun. Well Under your guidence and security I would love to go camping Once again crazy dasiy. Have a Nice day

I went camping when I was younger. I'm way too old for it now (bones ache too much).

I camp all the time with my kids but we do it a bit different. We have a camper...34 foot with bathroom and bedroom etc! LOL....so it's not really like roughing it...more like a little home away from home!

I have gone camping and I hated it! Never again! I didn't have fun and I found out I am not a camper! I don't like sleeping in a tent! I don't like using the showers at the camp site! I have not done it since the first time and never will! No thanks!

Camping, I love camping. I own a 2 person tent and use it extensively. There is absolutely nothing better to pitch in the mountains by the river. The silence and beauty promotes relaxation. Then as night comes sitting by a campfire makes the experience so fantastic. Camping!!!!!!
