How long does it take you to trust someone?

Every now and then it is happenning in my life. I have been betrayed(is it so strong), by those who I trusted a lot. Though the trust is gone, I still cant hate them for they have done some good to me too. It takes almost till the time something major happens to me to realize that the trust is gone.

All of my life I have had issues with trust. It stems from things that have happened to show me that people just can't be trusted. I am currently going through a huge trust issue and trying to regain it for someone I love. It will take me at least six to eight years to begin to trust that person completely and forgetting is probably not something that will ever happen. I know I shouldn't be so harsh but this person betrayed my trust before and I forgave them and forgot about the incidents but that won't happen again. I am trying to forgive but can never forget!!!

I can trust someone if they've been consistently doing what they've been saying or if they're jesus christ.

it depends on that someone. i trusted my bf right on time. by the time i met him. it was amazing but i felt the connection.
