Before when there were only tapes, I would always rewind the tape so that I could listen to the same track again.
When I was in high school, Annie Lennox got to me in a way with her song Love Song for a Vampire - an official soundtrack to the movie Bram Stoker's Dracula. The video was haunting but the music is very enchanting. The song got into my hear that I have to play it everyday on repeat mode (because I had it recorded in a tape) and my mom went berserk because it creep her out. LOL
I guess we all went through a phase where our particular favorite song is on repeat constantly in our players. Did you ever have this experience until today? Because I still do. =)

Is that song from Sean Paul? Because if I guess it right, it's another of my favorites too.

They are similar to the 80s hair bands. I like them. I think that their music is pretty cool. Actually, if my boyfriend and I get married, we are probably going to play that song or "True" by Spandau Ballet for a first dance song.

She is great and I don't think no one can be of the same level as her.
Now you got me curious, friend. What kind of a job exactly. I'm gonna love your job because I am a music lover.

Faith Hill---There you'll be & Aerosmith——————I don't want to miss a thing.
That is when I was in my high school, everytime I got frustrated and lost my examination,I would repeat these two songs again and again, then my mood would become better incredibly.I think it is the magic that music brings to us.

Im 22 but Im an oldies person. I just got the song "everlasting love" by love affair, and played it from 2am to 4am, yep, that late(or early whatever you make see fit). The power of the replay goes along way. Usually if no the song, maybe a portion of the song. Like in my ipod i just scan back to the part I like then play again...and again...and again...

upon reading your discussion it reminded me of something. when there were only tapes, i buy a blank tape and record there the only song that i want to hear. so that side a has only one song and it doesnt bother me to rewind it over and over. har har har. i can not imagine that you rather rewind it again and again than recording it on a blank tape. during the 80's i wanted to listen to fire in cairo again and again. a song of the cure. i want to get the part F-I-R-E I-N C-A-I-R-O that robert smith spelled it so fast har har har. i remember those days.

Yes i still do that. At home on weekends i usually play CDs with my favorite songs or favorite singers. And i usually put my favorite song on a repeat mode. In the office i also play songs in my laptop and there is one tune i really love and i keep it on repeat mode even the whole 8 hours. It really inspires me and makes working easier and my day lighter.

I know exactly what you mean. When I like a particular song, I always play it repeatedly until I get familiar enought with the lyrics and I can sing along. :D And yea, I used to do that when cassette tapes were still the norm. I think the last song that I experienced this with was Friendly Fires "Photobooth." Man, that song was catchy. :D

True. Before, I often had it rewind all the time just to make sure of the lyrics hat I jot so that whenever my song is played, I can sing along. =)
