yesterday ,when I was working in my office ,I got a call from one of my friends said he just had finish his first 100-kilometers super Marathon in 13 hours and now he was resting in his bed. That really amaaaaaze me, he told me that his ran 70 kilometers then his legs began to cramp so he walked the rest 30 kilometers. I said congratulations to him and asked him to have a good rest. I had attended a standard Marathon once last year and finished it in 5 and a half hours, I still can remember how tired i was that time. but I still can't believe how could he finish 100 kilometers. I think it is not healthy anymore,it is totally maltreat your body. what do your guys think about this?

I think I wish i was running one! It's just an ultra and I want to work up to doing one myself! I am just now starting to train towards a half marathon and then soon on to a full marathon. I figure if I can do that, I can accomplish anything! lol!

just before last year, me and my friend wanted to attend a half Marathon but we were busy that days ,when we had time to register it the half Marathon name list were already full so we decided register a Marathon because we didn't have choice. we were not sure if we could finish it ,but we did it anyway. but it is only one and a half years later my friend finished a super Marathon ,that it really amazing and unbelievable, I am petty sure if you continue training you will do it.

Are you sure your friend is telling the truth? Or is this story really a real one? 'Coz i'm a runner, i do run in marathons name it 5Km, 10Km, 21Km, 42Km. Even in Iron Man they only have like 26miles (41.8Km) or 29miles (46.67Km). What kind of marathon did he joined? Maybe RoboCop marathon, haha (just joking). I don't think that is true if it is, then it is already not healthy.

This is new. All my life I only knew of a 42k marathon. This is too hard for any except if it was broken into 2 legs. hehehe... You see, even your didn't make it til the finish line running. I would only go for the 42km marathon. That is if I am running...hahaha... I only have tried the 5km run but am willing to take it one step at a time...
