If someone in your family was not taking care of their responisbility as a parent and was very self absored, hard headed and just young and stupid would you get involved or just stay out of it and mind your own business? Well Im going through a situation like that now and my hubby thinks I should mind my business cause in my family I get blamed for speaking out. He feels its not my child and let them be as long as its no danger. I dont know what to do, any advise?

If you are very closed to your family before yes you can involved because it's your family, might be from you the dispute will be resolved. However, some children are not happy to be involved because they are fear that might his/her voice not to hear by other member of the family. Close family ties is very important and open mind is part of it.

If I felt that it would be a danger I would say something, but then again I might not. I am a very quiet person, and while I might complain to others, I don't know that I'd ever come right out and confront the person who was doing the wrong. Of course I'd also be scared, deep down, that I didn't know all the facts and was opening my mouth on a subject I didn't know enough about and couldn't defend my reasoning for, butting in to.
