What is the best anti-virus for you?

i used to have norton before and these days iam using nod32 i guess its good and a bit simple too

I have Norton Antivirus. It works pretty well, does its job and it has many customizations. I don't go to random sites though, so the chance of getting a virus is slim anyways.

I have been using 'quick heal total' and I found it perfect for my home PC.

for me kaspersky internet security is the best..........it is both antivirus and also online security software too............. i have been using it from last 2 years and still haven't formatted my c drive due to virus problem because i dont have a single virus in my pc....

As what I understand, not all virus can be detected by solely one anti-virus software. Many new virus will come out in most of the days. We should appreciate of those genius in creating the virus to troubling all of the computer users. I am wondered if they are intently to help the promotion of anti-virus software in the market.

I was using Kasper sky before and it was really very good anti virus, but the only thing is it ll interrupt you while working. But as a whole I think it is best and can be trusted. Now a days, I am using free version of AVG and I have not noticed from last two months that it gave me any warning about any type of threat. I am planning to buy kaspersky again

Currently I install Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 into my computer and it runs pretty well until now. This software contains two parts including anti-virus function and Internet protection function. The only shortcoming of this software is that to a large extent it affects the running speed of system. But I'm willing to sacrifice a little speed for more safety.

I use norton antivirus, but lately I really don't need any antivirus since my system is in freeze. I use a different program to freeze my system and every time I restart my computer it goes back to its previous settings. There is no way for a virus, spyware to install itself to my system.

I have been used Kaspersky, Mcafee, and AVG... I'm choosing KASPERSKY for the best anti virus.... Why? Because every potential unwanted software and something likely virus will be appears notification. Not only that, every virus that coming from Flashdisk Kaspersky can detected most of it... Kaspersky and Mcaffe was in the same rank but unfortunately Its so expensive, for the faster (updating and scanning) antivirus I choose AVG. Cheaper, faster, but still trusted. AVG can block for the most damaged, unwanted, or potentially a virus, worms, and software although not as strong as the two antivirus above.

I am using the AVG free anti-virus for years and I found that not much of problem with the software. There are so many anti-virus available, but each of them are able to detect certain type of viruses that others do not. For me, as long as I don't download so much of software and my computer will be safe.

The best one for me I think is Kaspersky you have to pay for it but it is indeed worth it without that antivirus I never would of known that a site that I was visiting reguarly was a phishing site out to steal my information. Luckily I never did anything important on that site but yea a good antivirus can save you lots of problems in the future. You'll be amazed how many sites even just simply writing sites are hacked or phishing. i was anyway.
