do you have disgusting experience with the use of your credit cards?

Credit cards are a necessity now a days but using them sometimes put you in some bad and disgusting experience. I was on a store using my card when the sales clerk told me that my bank would not allow any transactions with my card. I was so disgusted because in my full knowledge there's no valid reason for my bank to do so then after paying cash, the bank called telling me there was a mistake in confirmation of my card. The damage has been done and I went home angry !

I had that experience a couple times and although it made me super angry at the moment I look back now and appreciate that if my card was stolen someone could not easily make purchases using my card.
It was however embarrassing also as the cashier and other customers looked at me as if I were unable to pay with the card.

I experienced that too. As I remembered my boyfriend and I went grocery shopping. Knowing that he has his credit card with him, so we bought all the stuffs we wanted. But when we decided to pay in the cashier, they told us that the bank bank wont allow any transactions also, the worse thing is that they told us that maybe because it doesn't have money. My boyfriend was really pissed because there's a lot of people in that store and we already spent half of the day in that store. So my boyfriend decided to leave his credit card with a cash so we can leave just to assure that if the bank still wont make the transaction, they have the cash for the payment of the stuffs we bought.
