have you thank your parents for giving you life?

We may have hard times living and fulfilling the wishes of our parents, but have you thank them yet for giving you the life you have now? I really despise my parents when i was in high school for being strict. But as i grew up, I came to realize that they gave me everything i need, clothes, shelter, money, love. Of course it is hard to say thank you especially to those parents who hurt but love us. I am a professional now but still i can say it to them. But it is more on gestures that i show my gratitude. So did you say thank you to your parents?
