Police... EPISODE 1. yesterday i heard a filmy dialogue from a friend where he said the meaning of police. he said.. " p for power, o for order, l for law, i for income, c for commission, e for encounter". EPISODE 2. months ago i saw i quote on the back side of a highway truck, that was " oh god, please save me from doctor, police and lawyer". EPISODE 3. i read on a magazine that the most corrupted department in india is police department. EPISODE 4. when we were children, we got feared by noticing police. we often ran here and there and hide ourselves so that they can't see us. women and girls also took their places inside home. even today, we can't take it easily if a police comes to our house. we get feared still now. REASON 1. they often misuse their duties and powers. REASON 2. they never respect to their elders. they never hesitate to insult an educated or senior citizen, even they can beat, kick, slap easily. REASON 3. they never hesitate to take bribes. sometimes they seems more poor than a beggar. they never take a step without a huge bribe. they even take step against the sufferer if he/she can't offer them money. REASON 4. they often use slang words where they can. they never observe anyone's presence. shameless. and there are many more reasons......... sure there are some good police officers too but very few. what do you think about police? are they same in your country? please share. thanks in advance.

Hi shibham brother, you given the nice picture of police in India and its true in most of the cases.. you can even add some points on Traffic Police too.. because they are the one who makes money from common people a lot.. Though your documents are correct and you wearing a helmet.. your vehicle emmision and Insurance are perfect even though they will simply demand money if you are not ready to give they will simply put a case on you ststing overspeed and grab money from you..

Excellent and Excellent !!!!! Traffic police !!! They are the best looters !!!! Simply a note pad and a pen(don't bother whether the pen is in writing condition) and they will keep the radio in their hands pretending that they are busy, give the money and go !!!

Hi you both of nice experience on traffic police. I have also encountered such situation where i sacrificed some money. But once i was insulted by a hawaldar. Next to it i became angry and wanted to registered a court case but the senior officers interfered and asked him to say sorry to me. Actually most of them use third person singular number while addressing some one like.. tu tu tu.. stupids. have a nice day.

Hi Shiby. Here we don't have a police force. Here they are fat, lazy, arrogant and corrupt. We were even warned not to stop for them when pulled over, as you will never know what their intentions are. Does that sound like a police force to you? TATA.

In my country, for the most part, police are respected and trusted. When you're in trouble, you call the police. Sure, there is corruption but it is fairly rare considering how many police officers we have and it's usually confined to the biggest cities where crime is ingrained. Our police have toy drives at the Christmas season, take up collections to buy teddy bears for children they encounter in domestic violence situations, they sponsor children's camps and summer programs to keep kids out of trouble. I'm in the U.S. and our police are, for the most part, people who truly want to help the community they serve in. I'm sorry it's not the same in your country--it sounds as if people should organize and rise up. After all, there's more of you than there are of them. You should not have to live that way.

That is very excellent in your country !! But here, u can always take this sentence, when a cop is coming, he is ready to ask money.. Suppose if two groups are fighting each other, the cops would come and they will scold both the groups and get money from both of them and will say the media that they have a great job and the fighting is no more!!! The other concept is Police are Friends only for the Rich.. Because the Rich will give them money and the police would salute when they see some rich people. Suppose, a Car hits a Bicycle and the Bicycler is injured, what would happen? Simple, the Car owner would give some money to the cop in charge and he flee the scene...Case would be registered like the Bicycler had done the mistake.. If this is the thing, how could the police be friends for poor? Something has to be done !! We need the perfect ruling party... the ruling party before 40 years were very excellent it seems, many would tell me, that the golden days were gone when those party are no more. now everybody is money minded. Instead of helping the poor, the money goes only to the rich.

This is the exact theme and concept of the cops here. Everybody behaves the same. u could find no respect from them. The expansion for the Police was given by a police in a movie, i remember the movie, it's Dhill.. They misuse their power..Bribe and Corruption are very well famous and they do act as leaders..I don't know who gave them so much power. If suppose any cop is having shortage of money, simply he will open a notepad and stand in side of the road and he will block some vehicles and get some money. It's the easy way.. That is the reason, suppose if u become a Cop , u will become rich soon... If u clear IPS and emerge as an officer, then u would definitely find some respect, and those guys will not ask much bribe.

The famous statement and the sentence u would hear from any cop, " If u give here it's RS.200 , if u go to court u have to pay RS.400" The excellent sentence formation, i don't know who started this sentence and u could always hear this from any roadside cops!!!!

You Have given the exact picture of police, they do behave like that, and dont bother to care for any body, But the problem is Every humna being doesnot under stand the language of Love and respect,Some times one has to be rude and harsh to control the situation. So I can say that its not there fault at the first instatnce, its the Systems fault. have a nice day
