I don't know about you, but if ever you're asked which one is a better parent, your father or your mother? I know that to most people, both are good parents in their own ways and that's true. But one has to be better than the other. To you, which one?

For me a father and a mother are really different when it comes to disciplining the kids that's why it's hard for me to choose which is a better parent. Therefore, my answer for this is there's none because they are both good parent to me in their own different way.
I love them both as much as they love me.

For me there is no question in my mind that it is my mother. My father really didn't have any shortcomings, but the thing that didn't really work out for us is because of the fact that he passed away when my siblings and myself were in the formative years of our life. However, my mother was able to pick up the slack in her life and make a memorable childhood for us and to show us what being a good parent was all about.

If you will asked me this question way back when I am still single I would probably choose my mom because I constantly see her in our house and whenever I have a problem at school I can easily confide to her.
But now that I have my own family I just realized that they are actually the same, they are equally in a way but they do have different responsibilities, my mom is a homemaker who takes good care and look after us, do the house hold chores and my dad was a bread winner. They both share a sense of responsibility to raised us in the best way that they can.
Parenting is a team- work.Children need both a mother and a father to grow and mature emotionally.
