how much would you give for the second chance?

This is really bothering me alot. For some reasons i am trying now to get more prepared if things likely to happen and have to make a choice by letting go or giving a second chance for someone you really love. But atleast for i know myself as i would give a second chance to someone if ever he hurts me, just one thing is not sure of how much would it be for that second chance? Little by little i am starting to think about in this matter. How about you guys?..have you ever been to a situation that someone was hurting you and been asking for your second chance?..how much would you think you can give to someone knowing you get hurt by him/her? Would it still be the same as the first time you give him the chance to be part of your life?..
