What will be the future of American Idol?

What do you guys think will happen in the near future for the American Idol reality television show? As for me, I think that since the departure of Simon Cowell I wouldn't want to watch it again. He was the only reason I was still watching the show.

I think American Idol will still continue to exist for some seasons. But their ratings will definitely be affected by Simon's departure from the show. Even though he is mean to contestants, he is the reason why a lot of people still watch the show. He is the spice of the show!
If Paula was still there I think she would make a difference in keeping the show alive. Don't you think?

i will watch the show but it won't be the same. Simon Cowell was the person we waited especially to hear from. Simon will be getting a new show together called the x factor in the near future. i will be watching and waiting for this to come on. the ratings for idol have been lower. we shall see how the show goes now with the new judges and new talent aboard.
