Is Happiness a choice or just something Man continously run after?

Happiness, some say is a choice, but others insist it is just something Man pursue.

i agree..being happy is a matter having positive thoughts, being complete and being contended..it's a spur of the moment where in everything seems to be right.

For me, happiness is the gift. We are gifted with happiness after we do our best. If it is just choice, everybody then will choose. Although in fact there are many unhappy people. Nor it is the thing we pursue, since happiness stays in our heart. It never go anywhere. It is happiness that (should) pursue us.
