well, i got a really bad exprerience from updating my status. the jealous and reasonless girl-friend of my colleague tought that I post something about her on my status. that night, the colleague phoned me at 3 am to ask me what did I set on the status because of his girl-friend won't let him go bed if he could not give her a satisfiy answer!! what a crazy woman. I don't understand why she get mad on me even my status didn't mean anything about her.

OMG. I am in the current situation right now, with hubby's ex-gf. she thought that what i had on my status was pertaining to her. Then she started posting mean things about me and started calling me names. At first it bothered me, but after talking to hubby about it; I now understand why he chose me over her. I placed the girl on my block list and removed all mutual friends that we have. I would never stoop down to her level. such a low life person..

hello caixajamona, had experienced this but not too deep. well, its a social networking site and arguments or contrasting of opinions is inevitable. it is a good thing there are lots of ways to deal with people that pisses you off. you can block them, report them or unfriend them. hope that problem of yours do not happen that much now. happy mylotting. :-)

I haven't really. Someone from my passed decided to bring it back up by messaging me, this person really can't forget and I really don't get what they're problem was but I just ignored them. I'm not that sad I have to attack someone online, if someone wants an argument I'll do it face to face. I don't see the point in why so many people tend to be keyboard warriors.

That's quite absurd! I mean the girl for thinking that your status was all about her! :) I had a sort of a heated discussion with a friend of mine. We were chatting about a lot of things. We came to a point where we discussed about politics. He was already insisting on his choice, his views and opinions to be the most ideal. He wouldn't respect what I had to say. Like he wouldn't listen to reasons, my views and opinions too. I had to end the chat since it wasn't ending well already. I was so annoyed I wanted to delete him from my list. :)

I have been in an argument with some random person that I've never even met before. A friend of mine is very into politics and social issues, he starts alot of discussions on his page. I happened to disagree with something another one of hsi friends said, and he took it VERY personally and it turned into a ridiculous argument...

Hi there caixa, Welcome to myLot! Well I guess that happens.. And I strongly think that girl has super high level of insecurity in herself.. And I also think that she doesn't feel the security on her boyfriend as well.. If you didn't do anything or say anything that's really about her, then there's nothing for you to worry about.. It's on her already and not on you.. If I were you I wouldn't give a damn.. I'll just tell her my status isn't about her actually and she shouldn't react that way.. If she's got insecurity then it's not your fault.. She's too paranoid.. Ignore her.. Happy myLotting!

Wow. that's cruel! I hope everything's well now. Well, i guess sooner or later people will really get into an argument in any social network since, its very personal and like a famous quote say, you can't please everybody, right? That is why even though writing your opinion and personal thoughts on your facebook or anywhere is still scary because someone would always wanna argue about your point.
