Do you like cars, trucks or SUV's?

Which vehicle do you have? Is it the vehicle you want or just something that is convenient for you now?
I am definitely not a fam of cars. I mean, I love the style some cars have, example would be the Mercury Cougar (which I do have) or the Camaro or even the new Cadillac STS. But my ultimate favorite has to be SUV's. I love driving SUV's and I also have one as of now, the Saturn Vue.
Next year I will be getting a new SUV, not sure which on yet.
I feel much safer in an SUV than in a car because I am higher up and less impact can be caused if god-forbid I was to have an accident. I have been driving SUV's for about 4 to 5 years now and I don't think i would ever buy a car due to the luxury and convenience it has me in. I like it.
Which would you prefer?

Well, I love my Land Rover Defender 90 the best 4 by 4 by far. Agile, reliable and tough as old boots, brings a smile to my face every time I get in!

had it 5 years, goes off-road every day with dogs running behind at 20-30 mph, carries up to a ton (Though only 1/2 ton legally) and can tow a 3 ton trailer. Climb a 45 degree hill (that's 1 in 1) and has the best departure and attack angles of vehicles

I have an SUV too. Yes, I like driving SUV. Just like you said, I feel safer driving an SUV than driving a saloon car, especially when driving in the snow. I often have to drive out-of-town along highways. That's where I really feel safer driving an SUV. I am planning to buy a new car next year, and it will definitely be an SUV again.
