Let's meet the Saola!

saola - polite but very shy, highly endangered!

Also known as "the polite animal" or "saht-supahp" among the Hmong natives of the Vietnamese-Laotian border because it moves quietly through the forest, the saola is one of the rarest mammmals in the world. Related to the cattle, saolas are antelopes. Only 11 are recorded alive. And None is believed to have lived in captivity and are therefore highly endangered. I hope there is advancement in scientific understanding of the Saola to improve the possibility that they can be kept and bred in captivity in future so that their numbers would grow. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saola Why do you think some animals find it hard to live and breed in captivity?
