I am due for a driving test this October, I am worried. Sometimes I can not even sleep at night. I was thinking what would I do during the test. I done driving school before but not here in US, and the road here are a lot different form ours. The rules here is strict too. SO I am terrified. What if I forget to put my hand on the passengers seat while I am backing up. What if I can not change lane properly, or have a full stop on Stop sign. Or maintain my lane. I have too many fears but I am thankful that my husband is doing his best to teach me. Today, we had a driving practice. I done my straight backing almost perfect but I am having great mistake in pull over. I wish I will pass on the test. I am excited to have my first US ID. I want to have a valid id so I will not have problem when sales lady or clerks ask for identification. I will try my best to pass the test. Be calm and alert as much as possible. I am also afraid to scratch our new Honda Accord. That car is like a baby to us.

I was just like you before I took my driving test too haha! I know you probably won't listen because I didn't either but it is really much easier nowadays than you think. I got it on my second try but now I hear a lot of people getting it on their first try so I would feel pretty confident you are taking it now. I wasn't so worried about backing up and changing lanes and stuff like that, that was easy for me. I was worried about parallel parking as I am sure most people are. I practiced parallel parking for 2 days for about an hour each of those days and during my test I did it perfectly. But my advice to you is to not worry because the more nervous you are the more prone you are to messing up during the test. The test givers like to see confidence when people are taking their test because it shows that they have confidence in their driving. So just try not to worry and be as confident as possible and I am sure you can pass your first time.

thanks for the tips, but sadly I did not get the schedule for this month all the schedules are full, so my learner's permit will be expired and I think I have to take the written test again.Meaning I have to pay again for the test. I should done the scheduling earlier. I thought it will be easy because my husband got his test schedule fast and easy.

Well congrats to you for getting ready to be a legal driver. I want to say to you just relax a little bit and you should be fine. When you get in the car with the testing instructor pretend they are not in the car with you and you should be fine.
If you concentrate too much on the passenger in your car, you will forget all you have learned and not do so well. So perhaps before the driving test you may want to have another person in the car who has never been there with you. This way you can think it is like the testing day and believe me it will make a world of difference if you just do not think about the passenger.
Good luck to you.

Maybe I can relax a little bit. I was not able to get a schedule for this month. So there will be more time to practice but I am also thinking that maybe it will make me more anxious. I like things to be done right away. but this time a get so chicken so I postponed it until it is near the the expiration date.
