I prefer to eat at home. I like to cook and I like to try new recipes. Sometimes if we are in a hurry though or if we work late we will sometimes go out to eat so we don't have to cook and then clean up. I like to go out every once in a while but I would rather eat at home most of the time. It's better for us to eat at home and it saves us money.

Eating at home is more economical. it is also a good way for family to spend time together. It is nice to eat at a restaurant once in a while. We all need a little pampering every now and then.

I always prefer to eat foot at home only. Though for a change we visit some restaurants once in a month or so, but basically we prefer to eat at our home only.
I believe apart from the hygiene, purity f ingredients used in the dish, known sources of procurement I enjoy the particular style of taste which I get only in my home cooked food.
We tend to use a particular type of oil as a medium for cooking, we use a particular sets of spices which impart a particular taste to a particular dish, and we get accustomed to this taste and we look forward to a particular taste when a particular dish is prepared and we get disappointed in the restaurant to miss this taste.
Apart from all these we can't all the dishes prepared in the restaurants. We have to be happy with the available menu to satisfy our appetite. Small but tasty things can be made at home and these things are not only difficult to get in restaurants but some times it becomes impossible also.
In India all the states have different food habits, so people living in other states find it very difficult to adjust with local food served in the Restaurant. In a single restaurant some may find the food too spicy while others may find it absolutely bland, So the best thing is to have our home prepared food.
Some times because of difference in eating habits it is not possible to have food regularly in the restaurants. South Indians have Dosa and Idly as their dinner, if they go to restaurant to have them as Dinner then they will be end up with a big bill, possibly with which a family can eat for three to four days.
Thus I think it is convenient for we Indians to have food at home than in restaurant on regular basis. Thanks !

admittedly, i am lazy to prepare my own food. with my work and studies, preparing food just takes a lot of my time. so i would prefer eating out in a restaurant. but it goes with a price. i don't have much money then to spend in a restaurant for a meal. so what i do is i prepare the simplest meal i can do at home to fill in my stomach. it is not a question for me whether i like it or not. i have no choice but to do it.

I prefer eating at a restaurant. First of all, it would be nice to eat at a restaurant with good interior decoration because the ambiance would add a lot to the eating experience. Second, it's nice to eat food that is freshly cooked and served immediately whether food stand or restaurant. The quality might deteriorate when food is delievered or taken home. On the contrary, it would also be nice to eat home-cooked meals at home but I can barely cook. That's also why I like eating outside.

I definitely prefer to eat at home. A good homemade meal is far healthier, cheaper and tastes better (None of that processed crap though! Yuck!) Some restaurants offer good food choices, but they are few. Fast food and food stands are downright nasty and I try to only eat at thema couple of times a year (Or less!). My husband does the cooking around our house and he's a great cook, better than any restaurant! : )
