Hello myLotters,
I manage my all downloads by using the Softwares like Internet Download Manager(IDM) or Free download Manager(FDM).
Although, this software separates all type files like compressed, songs, videos, setup, etc. but i am using 3 operating systems so that software saves all these categorized files in that respective OS's documents. So it is hard to find afterwards the file I have downloaded. Therefore,I have made one folder in some fix location and there i categorized all files so I save all downloads in same folders though OS different.
How you manage all your downloads? :)
Have a nice day!

I don't use any software to manage my downloads, I do everything though the browser. As I use Opera, I can stop and resume if I really need to. That's the only "manage" I do, as I don't do a lot of downloads anyway.
I put everything on a "downloads" folder too. There I drop everything, and move into some folders for programs, movies, games, texts and so on. From there I periodicaly search those folders and install or view anything pending.

I save downloads direct to the folders that I have created for them. I keep downloads in the generic 'Download' folder until no longer required.
The likes of drivers I usually save to a flash drive, so that if I need to reload my OS I have not lost downloaded drivers or important files.
