I'm nursing my 5 month old baby but I need to lose weight fast...

My sister's wedding is coming up this January 2011. I really need to lose weight since I will be her matron of honor. Losing weight used to be easy for me because I drink slimming teas and go on a diet. But this time, I could not do them because I am nursing my five month old baby girl. If I drink slimming tea, it might affect my breast milk and thus affect my baby. I tried controlling what I eat but I noticed that my milk supply also lessened. Can you help me? Please give me tips on how I can lose weight while nursing my baby. I don't want to give up breast milk.

Okay first of all it is good that you know to not take anything since you are nursing your baby, you have to be careful knowing that whatever you intake, your baby will too. One thing that is healthy for both you and your baby is exercise. walking,running,dancing are great fat burners as well as toning up with sit-ups and leg lifts. Now, what to take naturally that won't harm your baby? I friend sent this link to me that I kept. It has a list of fat-burning foods. http://www.naturalnews.com/030088_fat_foods.html The cinnamon is one I have used before, and what I did was 1/2 an hour before I ate breakfast and half an hour before bedtime, I'd make this tea make with a tablespoon of honey, tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, (I have used rice vinegar also) and a teaspoon of cinnamon and I do believe this works. (Of course if your baby might be sensitive to vinegar, so experiment anything new before jumping into a full change of diet.) I hope that helps...

Your welcome and I believe having a good 3 months to get in shape, you should be able to do it..The only problem is the holidays are coming, you'll have to control yourself..lol

drink luke warm water as much as u can, try eating more fruits... cut ur meals into 4 parts... morning noon evening and dinner... divide equally..
