there are lots of courses offered in many universities. but what do you think is the most difficult? for me it would be chemical engineering. because i think it very hard dealing with those complicated chemical equations. most especially in the field of organic chemistry where you have to deal with things that has carbon. or simply things with life perhaps? well, that's in my own opinion only. what do you think?

Welcome dear eelennah to Mylot! I guessed that you are new to Mylot from your score displayed against your ID ! You are are doing Chemical Engineering course means that you are still young and not seen much of the World! When we are students every one feels the same about the subjects in which they are dealing in. They find these subjects very hard as they are supposed to know these subjects thoroughly as they would soon be becoming experts in these subjects. I am 50 years old Post Graduate. I did my graduation in Veterinary science and then I did my post graduation in Animal Genetics and Breeding some 25 years back! During my graduation I used to feel that Veterinary science is the most toughest courses we need to study anatomy, physiology, pathology, microbiology, pathology, medicine, surgery, parasitology and nutrition pertaining to all the domestic animals separately. This used to be too voluminous though we used to study all these things in a comparative way but that used to be a big uphill task.We used to have a semester pattern and within a span of four and half months we ere supposed to write almost 45 examinations and scoring of all the examinations were taken into account for final result.Practicals used to be different. It was very tough going thing. I was too stressed out and was too burdened wit so many subjects and so many examinations. I was a good student and never liked myself lagging behind in the class, which has added to my existing miseries. But then I had to over com these things. Then I coolly thought over the matter and I have decided to complete the subjects on day today basis, instead of studying during the time of examination. In this attempt I was very successful and this has given me lot of relief and confidence. I used to jot down the class notes in the class without missing a single word uttered by my professor and then after coming to home I used to fair the notes and while doing so half of my job used to be finished as I had to refine the notes to be presented in examinations. And one reading after the fair work used to complete my studies. After attempting this technique I was much relieved and started faring well in the examination and maintained my merit position and I was merit scholarship holder in college in graduation and also in post graduation. Oh yes! During the vacation period I used to get lot of time and during this period I used to draw cartoons and publish in local news papers, I used to publish weekly articles based on science in local News papers, I also used to play Guitar and harmonica and I lead my college in cultural team and we won inter collegiate competitions for three consecutive years , to make the running trophy permanent for our College. I was and still I am a quasi professional Ventriloquist. And believe in me I used to make pretty good amount of money during my student life together with my studies where I maintained my merit! In nut shell what i want to say is that it is not a matured way of thinking that only our subjects are hard, because we never know about others' subjects as we never have seen them. Second thing, being professional student it is expected from you that you should be perfect in your subject, as you are tomorrow's expert in your field. So dear friend, take your studies seriously and with positive frame of mind in proper spirit so that you will become a responsible and respectable professional in your field, instead of feeling that your subjects are hard! Thanks ! Good topic of discussion! Enjoyed participating in it!

hi there sir! first thing i want to say that i am not a chemical engineering student. i am a civil engineering and currently on my fourth year. so far, i am doing good in my studies but not good as those students who are achievers. secondly, i am serious in my studies and i keep good track of my lessons. i copy notes and i study hard days before my exams. thirdly, i made a point there that anything that deals with life is what makes a course tough and i just said that it was only my opinion. because as we all know, not everyone has the same skills as the other so we could say that "this" is tough and "that" is not. a person can do this easily and the other might find it difficult. that's why there are many courses to choose so as to assess ourselves on where we are good at. but of course, there is this subject that we find a little confusing but with a little struggle, we can soon come up with a strategy on being good at that particular subject and be good at it. so, i hope that we are clear here. thank you for the advice and seems you got a good experience in life already. you've done satisfactorily enough to be a versatile person. that's nice! and congratulations, i hope that everyone will be as productive as you. have a great day!

wow. friend. i ever been in university . but i don't hate any course when i am studying in my university , because it so easier than that we study in middle school. and we could just study little time then we could study it well. and i study so good in our university . so the teacher give me so much good words. so just don't worry about it. you will like it when you have enough good levels. come on .

Iam studing Electronics Engineering . Its very tuff for me. My brother is studying IT,he also say that its tuff. The Kerala university B.tech Degree (2008 scheme),its very yuff for almost all students. Also the university changed some rules and regulations. Remember there will be top rankers also at the end of the course,so its not difficult for them.

oh, so you are an Electronics Engineering student? my boyfriend shares the same course with you. i took EE too but shifted to civil engineering because i find it hard to cope up with the fast-pacing technology and also i realized that i liked civil engineering more. here in the Philippines, we think that engineering is tough compared to other courses except choosing on being a doctor though. well, any course that is related to life is tough for me.

I've never heard of Chemical Engineering before so thanks for the heads up! :D Gladly appreciated it. For me, the toughest course is Law. In Law, as early as 12, you should be memorizing lots of lectures already and you must be familiar to your country's different policies and law articles for this is very important for the course. My friend's father is a lawyer and he indeed as a room full of a variety thick books! Well -- as they say it: Pick a job that you love the most, and you'll never have to work again. Cheers and I hope this helps, --Jaja

well, law is also tough. thinking of those things you needed to memorize, woah!!! it drains my energy already! but you know, it's a matter of memory. as long as you a good memory, you won't have a problem. well, any job needs a lot of thinking though so i guess we can hardly decide what's the toughest course.and yeah you're right there that as long as you pick the job you love the most the there won't be any problem at all. thanks there pal!

Well, for me the most difficult course is the Law, as what I've viewed about a lawyer, It seems hard for me to become one, 'cause not all of us has that charm of persuasion, and being a lawyer has to have that skill in communication that is natural and can be understood by everybody, and a lawyer also have to choose the decisions wisely, and if they are in the court already or if they have a case, their lives are in danger of the other opponent, they must be cautious on what they do in defending their party. So that's it, as long as I know being a chemical engineer is also difficult but a lawyer is more for me. =)

you have a point there bingster. yes, i can say that law is a tough course too! it's hard to defend a case most especially if you handle the cases of the criminals. that's very tough because it's already a matter of morality. that would question justice. LOL! but anyway that's what law is all about.

for the most is law, because it is dealing with the attitude of life of one person, maybe its true that there's a lot of money in law but its hard.
