Girls, how much time do you need to get ready for work and for a date?

I was always a bit mean towards girls than needed a lot of time to get ready and called them bimbos. But how much time is too much time? For me, it's a 15 minute shower, 5 minute makeup and maybe another 5 minutes to find everything I need to take with me, talk on the phone or have a cigarette. Generally, I'm ready in 20-25 minutes if I'm supposed to go to work and 25-30 if I am to go out. I never do anything to my hair other than use shampoo & conditioner and brush them, so that saves me a lot of time. But I know women that need a whole hour, even 2 to get ready. Does any of you need that much time? And if so, what exactly are you doing? I understand you'll need more time once in a while in order to paint nails or wax but how about the girls that need more than an hour each day, everyday?

Girls need to look pretty everyday. It takes time for us to look in a mirror, style our hair, wear make-up or choosing what clothes to wear.
Every time I get out of the house, I need about 45 minutes to get ready. It takes 20 minutes to dry my hair, 5 minutes to brush my teeth, 10 minutes to wear make-up and 10 minutes to check if I am wearing my clothes right.

Hi,
I used to work on shift basis so my working hour is not fixed
every day.
However, I always make sure I get ready myself 2 hours before my
working time start. So at least I no need in rush and I can take my
own sweet time to go to work.
I need to take public transport from my house to the working
place and it took about 45 minutes ,so I have to get out
from the house 1 hour before my working time.

I'm usually taking a maximum of 25 minutes. My fiance' trained me for preparing most of the thing in the night before I go to sleep like, clothes, make up, get the hair dryer ready right on the table and everything. So when we wake up in the morning, we take shower together to make thing faster Then we get dress which it takes a few more minutes for me, then we prepare breakfast together. I have a long hair and this is what usually takes me long getting ready. But I'm happy to have a wonderful man, if he have finished getting ready for himself then he will help me to dry my hair while I put on a bit of a make up on my face Then after that, we are happy to go together. We never really argue about time for the whole 5 years we are together, but the only problem is I'm getting faster and faster than he is so I sometimes shout at him for being late haha!
Have a nice day!

As a man maybe five minute enough to get ready for me to go to work, this just as normal time, if prepare for special date I will take rather long because give others a good impression is very important for the future, that can provide you more opportunity to the success. some time need a lot of time to get ready for work i don't think that meaningful and can change any thing bad. five minutes enough because I focus on the products' quality and work's efficiency not just a good appearance.

i'm not working yet so id rather say going to school then. if not in a hurry i can prepare myself for school in 20 minutes but if not, an hour and a half. 10 minutes shower, 10 minutes for make up, dressing up, and fixing my things. if not in a hurry, 25 minutes shower, 10 minutes make up, 5 minutes dressing up and 5 minutes fixing my things. the rest of the time i just do nothing and just for the time of my class.
when i go for a date, that's just about the same. ;)

It depends on where I'm going, I think, and how "dressy" the event is. I can take hours, depending on what needs to be done. Usually not so much, though, as essentially I just get dressed, put some makeup on, and straighten my hair. HOWEVER - if I want to CURL my hair - THEN it's an incredibly time consuming task! I usually avoid curling it just for that reason. Usually though probably about 15 minutes as I really don't do all that much!

It doesn't take too long to get ready for work. I usually know what I am going to wear the night before so it's pretty easy. Maybe about 45 minutes. But a date! Well, first of all I haven't had one in FOREVER! But I imagine it would take me hours, simply because I just wouldn't know what to wear and it'd take me forever to decide! lol! (I'm too old for that!)

for me, it all depends if i know what i'm wearing or not.
i have a closet full of clothes, but it can still take me awhile to find something especially for the night.
if i'm just going to walmart, or to run errands. it'll take me about 15 to get dressed and do my hair.
i'm all natural so i don't wear make up (don't need to either)
but if i'm going on a date. then overall it might take short of an hour to get ready.

i don't really spend to much time preparing if it's just a regular night out or date with friends. Though i would admit that if i'm going out with my boyfriend, i taker more time than usual. The usual time i prepare is 30 mins. but if i'd go out with my love one i'll spend an hour, but definitely not more than that. I just take time, i don't rush, i still do the usual stuff but i don't do it as fast as for my regular time going out. For work it takes me more time because i'm a singer/entertainer. So i needed more time putting on make up, setting my hair and preparing the costumes i'll wear.
