Has anyone ever tried becoming Spider-Man?

I remember as a little kid, I would always want to be Spider-Man no matter what. I always wanted to climb walls, sling some web, and just be super strong! I almost purposely tried to get a spider to bite me, until my parents pulled me away. (Best parents ever

i never ever want to become spiderman but i have a friend who always want to a spiderman.
There's one time where my friend tried to climb the wall at my school hall..
he is very great in climbing but he has no such luck..
he accidentally slipped and fell down..
but he is not injured at all...

There's a French guy, Alain Robert.
Even has a website with spider-man theme: http://www.alainrobert.com/
He can do amazing thins, climb the tallest buildings and obstacles. All without any kind of safety gear or any other helping stuff.

I was never that much into Spiderman, I liked action heroes but knew that most of it was not real and preferred reliving detective novel (I know ten times more boring) I only really started enjoying spiderman when I got older. I did have a friend who wanted to be Superman, jumped of a roof with a sheet as a cape, fortunately into a bush that saved him, gave him a few scratches, bruises and aches but no broken bones.
I do like the cartoons of Spiderman a lot, though the movies are good, they lack some of the wit and complexity the cartoons, comics and graphic novels have.

you wanted a spider to bite you? ahah thats too crazy but funny really^^ i didnt want to be like spider man ahah that didnt happen to me^^ but i wish i could have super powers sometimes^^ i mean the power to make money appear so could help my mum and my sisters and travel soon^^ i would be too happy^^

No i havent. Actually i was scared of Spiders back then lol. When i was a little kid i saw a movie called Arachnaphobia with big spiders killing people and everyone within their reach. Well, if only i saw or have watched spider-man first then that wouldnt be the case.

It is very interesting to become spider man. Most of the children who watch spiderman want to become spiderman.I also like to become spidrman, but i know it is impossible. Any way i had not tried any thing like you said. When i was child , i use to see some dreams that i am spider man and so on. Not more than that.
Do you still try consciously to get bitten by a spider?
