Think Lin dan is the best .

There is one player from India who is now emerging as a world force. Her name is Saina Nehwal. She is currently ranked 3rd in the world and held the 2nd spot briefly during the year when she won three back to back titles. I think she is a very talented player and has a lot of grit and determination. I hope that she goes on to make the world number 1 which would be a great boost for the sport in India. Cheers! Ram

I don't know much about past players, but I think currently the world's best is Lin Dan from China. He is China's top singles player at the moment, and I think he's the best because he's an all rounder. He can smash really well, play nicely at the net and do trick shots. Malaysia's current world no. 1 Lee Chong Wei is very good as well, but his form needs to be more consistent. When when Lee Chong Wei is in top form, he can be in Lin Dan's league and perhaps even surpass it. But I guess badminton has an element of luck too in addition to skills and form. The Asian Games will see the top badminton nations battle it out again. Can't wait.....

i dont know much badminton players. i know only indian badminton players as i am from india. I am a big fan of Saina Nehwal current gold medalist in common wealth games. She is a very good player. world no:3.
