Why do we close our eyes when we pray?When we cry?When we dream?Or When we kiss?

this is very true. the best things are not seen but felt deep inside the heart. This is also why inner beauty is a lot more important than physical beauty. it is not what you see or what your actions are but it is what you feel when you are doing it.

i think it allows us to be more focused and concentrated. it makes us more emotional. =)

I say the reason when many people close their eyes when they kiss is because if their eyes are open they can't focus on what is in front of them since it is too close. When I cried if my eyes are open while tears are coming out my vision becomes blurry since water is coming out of them. My eyes automatically closes when I fall asleep. I am not sure why anyone would close their eyes while they pray. The truth is that emotions is in the brain. I do know that I felt something in my chest that wasn't there when I experience an intense emotion but when I research the subject it turns out that it is actually in the brain and that the heart pumps faster.

Because in closing our eyes we block all of the things that could distract us in our meditation and concentration...

Because when we close our eyes, we felt like we are in a dream. We want to savor the moment of that bliss. We sometimes imagine that beautiful things come true when we fantasize. We even close our eyes when we wish something to happen.

Closing our eyes also helps us keep distractions away. We can focus better.

i quite agree.. when you close your eyes, you see nothing and you have peace..lol! but anyways one tend to increase the emotions, more of feelings.. We don't see God, but we feel him... i remember having my first kiss eyes closed and i could still clearly remember it..lol!
