I can't predict what exactly going to happen in the near future, but from what I saw in current transition, sooner or later, I might omit the need of paper printing business, won't it? Since reading electronic books become a trend. The invention of "Kindle" and "Nook" might shape the our reading in the future. Also, many companies and businesses go for the theme of "Green", which might involve paperless. Recently, I saw a lot of magazines, such as PC magazine, and Business World, etc.... can be found online through PDF format. Which I simply download them, and view them in PDF format.
That is what I am concern, everything goes electronic eventually.

Everything will go electronic eventually and it may be a good or bad thing. It would be good because it would save paper, which would save thousands of trees. It would help the next generation thrive. On the other hand, it could be a very bad thing, because everything would be electronic, and if there was ever an overload, all information would be lost, then we wouldn't really know what we should do.

I sometimes use the electronic versions of books or magazines, but I often prefer oldfashioned books for instanse if I want to read outside or in the bed. I think that even more things will become electronic in the future. In some situations that is nice, but it also makes things more complicated sometimes.
When I was travelling around in Europe I asked for a printed train timetable, but I was told that they were no longer available and I had to find the information online instead. It is pretty easy to find the information online, that is if you have access to the internet.
I didn't bring my laptop when I travelled around in Europe and sometimes I had to spend a lot of time looking for an internet cafe in order to find the timetable that I needed. In the printed version of the timetable I would have been able to find the same information in a few minutes! The electronic versions are easy to use, but they aren't useful without a computer, and that is a problem if you sometimes travel without your computer.

Printing will not totally fade as there is some truth to hard copies being a bit more official, at least for me. There is no way I can enjoy a good book curled up in bed with my computer.
Somehow this does not register and make for comfy enjoyment.

Yes i agree that everything will go electronic eventually and i think that it is quite simple and useful. i like electronic things like ipod and ipad. I suppose there are environmental concerns about using lots of electronic devices but still i love electronic things

But this is suspected to be the plan of the Globalists to steal the wealth of the individuals,as if Wall Street were, not enough.

Have you watched WallE? I think robots will run the earth in the next century. At least I wont exist then.Maybe for the next 10 years, students will use iphones as textbooks and notebooks. A lot will have eye problems eventually. People will lose jobs if electronics will replace humans when it comes to labor.
