Craze of Mylot.com in people is getting low day by day??

I'm still fairly new to myLot so I've nothing to compare here. I do know my participation has been low as I've had a lot going on in personal life. Also, I find the 'question' format a hindrance and have not yet gotten used to that form for starting discussions. I particpate in many forums and none have the question format as the only form for posting conversation or sharing of interests and information.

I have seen a variance where as people come, go and return. So like many things in life it just depends on what is going on and how much interest there is.

Not necessarily. I feel like it's just as popular if not more now than it was before - everyones trying to make a few extra bucks! I do notice that at certain times of the day, it doesn't seem like I see too many new discussions being started and whatnot...But then again, come dinner time, it seems to get pretty hoppin' here. lol.

I cant speak for others but I am here, and I am no teeny weeny person. I am five feet tall, almost 3 feet in circumference. LOL. I dont think anybody has lost interest as yet. :)

I know whatcha mean. I've seen a drop in the number of people who respond to my discussions. Then again, it could just be the time I make discussions and come onto myLot. A lot of members seem to designate a time for myLotting and are only seen here at that time. So, if you logged on when he or she wasn't on, you wouldn't think they were axtive that day. Therefore, people are probably still active, we just don't see when they are online.

I think, there are still many people mylotting. Some discussions I start still attract some friends to comments on. Perhaps, you need to add more friends. So you can see more people comment on yours. It is right, maybe some of them are busy. But they'll be back soon after they finish their business. Happy postings and nice day!

I've noticed that too. I've not seen many regulars coming to mylot anymore. I don't know what happened but I guess they might be busy during this time of the year preparing for the year end holidays or maybe some have found greener pastures elsewhere.

yes in reality i remmeber that some time ago there was active members that i sued to see their discussions or posts so often practically everywhere and now they are almost disappeared from mylot!!This community is as so..people are active in periods and disappeared in another...but i think is normal ..people can't stay so active everyday and this fact can happen to me too!

There should not be any anxiety over this issue. It is quite normal for people to come and leave, and this has happened before on myLot. There are many reasons, and they include 1) Members being busy with other urgent tasks in the physical world. 2) No Internet access due to reasons like a malfunctioning computer, natural disaster, non-payment of bills, work commitment, and on a holiday. 3) Flocking to sites offering a better rate per post. In the past sites like this had gone under due to an unsustainable business model, and the affected myLotters returned back to myLot.

I believe that the reason is mainly Facebook! It's easy to get tied up there and forget about mylot. I know that's why I'm not here as much as I was before.

I don’t think that Mylot craze is getting slow day by day. I think if this is happen then its people’s personal matter because sometimes peoples don’t get time for this because it needs some hour for working. So they are not able to give their time on this site. And I also think that mylot is not very strict than before because now peoples many postings are deleted by mylot. I have also face this problem but now I am still continuing in mylot. Because I love this site.

oh...how long have you been here? because i see on your number of posts that you seem to be new so how can u compare the old days and now?

I'm not an old member of myLott so I can't compare with the previous times. But I see a good activity here. Maybe you've lost some of your friends? Maybe they are busy? Today many of us have to work more to make both ends meet :D

i dont know. maybe some people arent intersted in posting all day. some people rather log on to facebook or myspace i reckon. im here to make money. lol. i havent been a member too long.

Hello khan, Well, the users of mylot changes from Generation per Generation..per year I remember when I was here back in 2008, they were a lot of people in this site. discussions were a bit smart and debatable. they were more active people back then. but they have their own lives outside mylot. some people just have to move on with their lives.probably if i have a job now khan, you won't see here often either. Let's just pray that they are in God's hand and they're fine. until they come back. you will see Have a great day

Well I got to say I totally agree with what your saying. The old days when Mylot first started in my opinion was the websites golden years. People where actually coming on everyday to start new and interesting discussions. Now we are stuck with a lot of the same questions appearing over and over again but written in different words. It is sad that the site seems to keep kind of going down hill. Mylot does have a good reputation around the net for paying but not so much for information or entertainment. I wish they had away where you could upgrade and get a pay raise for each discussion answered or started. Plus weed out some of the useless or repeated questions. Last night I was using the search to go over some of the discussions here and it was amazing that I found 4 discussions with the same titles and information. lol Crazy. Also if you use that search bar to go through some of the discussions you will notice all the topics for 3 or 4 years ago, where huge and really had merit. Things back in those days where awesome here.
