Are there any other horror fans that have seen British made, "Dead Set"?
It's a five part series about a zombie apocalypse and the effects on the Big Brother house!
It's great zombie horror, with a lot of satire and comedy.
I wondered if it had made it Stateside or anywhere else?
I just watched it again on Virgin on Demand. Great stuff! I think Davina McColl must have really enjoyed playing a zombie and making fun of herself. Not for the weak stomached though. Some of the scares are goooory! It's worth watching if you like zombies or British comedy though.

I liked this one a lot. I watched it when it was first shown on channel 4 or E4. I am a big fan of Charlie Brooker so I knew it was going to be good when I heard he had wrote it. His take on the media is always right on the money. The humour was spot on and the make up and effects were great for such a low budget. I must have a look and pick this one up on DVD and watch it all in one go. Who would have thought that we would have zombies in the BB house and a zombie Davina

I didn't realise he'd written it! It explains why the satire was so sharp. I've enjoyed a few articles he's written and that panel show he had about TV.

I think you would enjoy his newswipe and screenwipe progammes too, they are basicly his take on the weeks news and television. He did have a channel on youtube with them all uploaded but it seems it seems to have been closed, however a lot of the episodes are still available if you do a quick search.
