What if your relative (or neighbor) gets robbed by a gang of "thugs"? Would you

I will present here an analogy. If my friend goes and catches a live wire and he is electrocuted what will I do. If I will go and take hold of him to pull him away I would get electrocuted too. The best thing to do would be to switch off the mains and then try to extricate him. To help the neighbors I would do the same. I will seek help for him.

I would try to see any descriptive items about the 'thugs' and call the police. Reporting it and any descriptive things I might have remembered. If I was told by any of the 'thugs' that they were going to hurt me I would also make the police aware of this. It is a sad state of affairs when a neighbor can't do what is right without worrying about being hurt by thugs.
