this is a very heated question, so many fights break out over it. The bible says it is wrong, but I believe God forgives, I have to, it has happened in my family.

There is only one unpardonable sin where there is no forgiveness and that is to blashpame God's gift of his Holy Spirit. Here is an url that might help you better understand what it means to blasphme the Holy Spirit. http://www.christiananswers.net/q-eden/unpardonablesin.html
So to answer your question. If someone takes their own life it is forgivable but it is between them and God, not our judgement or condemnation. Not our call. God is able to forgive any sin except for condemation and rejection of his Holy Spirit. So just because someone takes their own life does not mean there is no forgivness from God from this sin. He alone knows the suffering, anquish and pain that led to someone taking their own life and he alone will judge that person on their entire life and behavior not on the one act. God is able to forgive this. As to if he will it depends a lot on the person facing God at judgement and what else they may have done good or evil.

Hmmm... for me, taking up one's life is not an ideal thing to have. As far as i know, each one of us is accountable to our own deeds and action. Somewhere or somehow we are the only one to be blame for causing our own acts. God gives us freedom to live and not to end up our life with our own hands. Maybe, if we do not die in peace ... in the other world we also do not have peace...

Well in my religon I dont believe God forgives you for
chosing to end your life but maybe if you werent christian
or had much knowledge of God then perhaps he wont be so harsh on punishment.
Er but for the most part I think you go to hell for killing yourself but who
knows God is unpredictable.

I don't believe in that type of God, what I do believe is that we each reap what we sow and if instead of facing something we decied to kill ourselves we will have to return to life until we have faced whatever it is. On the other hand I can understand someone facing a life of increasing pain wanting to end it. I is never my place to judge what others do, I don't know the whole story and only the one living it can judge.
