Hello lotters,
last night i was a bit bored because i didn't feel voting for this election because i haven't seen debates or got to know much of the candidates in the chairman and kagawad party that my mom endorsed to me.
Only one person i know there but the rest are new faces. but i promised mom i would vote so i did. the voting again is back on manual! can't you just believe that.
but i wasn't registered as SK so i never voted for those kids.
i don't know any pinoy mylotters have voted..

That's great that you vote, too many people don't when they should. Though I caution voting blindly, to vote for the candidate you want to win. Maybe next time an election comes around, take the time to research or find someone who has similar ideas that you do and ask them. I do a little of both..:)

I'm sorry you feel this way, because having that right to vote is what makes a country great. I know how you feel though, when the one you wanted in office doesn't win, it is discouraging, but I keep at it..Sometimes my person wins and sometimes they don't, but to know that I had a say in it, makes me feel good....:)

Hello carmel,
No, there is no excuse for what i did, it's dumb and i didn't exercise my rights not to vote. but in 2016, i might strongly consider never to vote again. for the possibility of not seeing another best candidate or maybe the best but might loose the election. i won't even bother watching political issues nor debates. i will stay neutral until i see a candidate worthy of serving the country and not because they are popular

it is really hard to vote especially when you don't have any idea on who to vote to. Probably that's why there are so many commercials during the "main" elections.
In fact, I don't feel like there's any election going on.
Any how, good luck with the candidates and with your miscellaneous ramblings, my friend.
I'm still a kid so I can't vote ^_^
Cheers

hmmmm. how old are you exactly jajamasorong?
but you can register for the SK elections, so that you can participate in voting for the young politicians. give them a chance to practice making difference to the country.

I'll just say between 10-14 :D
I'll let you do the guessing then.
I'll probably do so. Sounds interesting. I'll look forward to that one. :)
Thanks for sharing. :D

hi letran you have lots of company here in the US our slection is in November and I have few ideas of who I really want to vote for. I am elderly so have not the excuse of the younger ones. I have an absentee ballot staring me in the face here at my desk, and outside of one I do really know and refuse to vote him in again, all the others I have not gaot the foggiest information. I do have the fat pamphlet and I will reread it some time today and fill out the ballot but I hate this as you so eloquently put it voting blindly. I guessI could just bote democrat and let it go but they are not all of them my choices. Like you all I really know is this one man, idiot brown, oh thats jus my first name for him. He was a governor here a number o f years back and was a really lousy Governor then so I am not for having him in again as governor .
But the others are all new to me.I am registered as a Democrat but
i never vote straight party as I like to choose by person not by
party.so good for you hope the ones you voted for make it. hugs from Hatley.

but i voted grace. probably i shouldn't have voted because my mom told me to. this was the first time i followed her into this. just because she was part of the christian womens group or something. i believe their indoor campaigning wasn't enough perse. this won't happen again.

Well, when you're in situation like this dude, just think of it like you're in a middle of lame a** quiz and you've got no idea what the quiz is all about! LOL..Just pick the cutest answer and the closest to your heart and most of the time, you either make it great or fail big time. We don't know these guys!!! You don't even know they existed not until the first day of campaign period!!! Let's face our politics is full o'crap and majority of our people die cynical about life here in our third world country. Salute!

Hello sundownkid,
Yeah, I know. luckily, that was just the Barangay Elections, i don't wanna start choosing in the 2013 elections just because my mom tells me to. these are lawmakers that we are talking here so i would probably either choose and weight their experiences. if they're not qualified then i won't vote.
