What happend to Halloween?

When I was a kids I remember going out Halloween night no matter what day it was, But now they have certain times to go out and certain days? Whats up with that? My little boys gonna be spider-man and my little girls gonna be a witch.

ohhh...change is constant so let's just adapt to it. =) i miss being a little kid, too. =)

We've always had trick or treating on Oct. 31st. regardless of what day of the week it falls on but in both MD, where I used to live, and here in Florida, where I currently live, there are "suggested times". You don't want kids coming by your house before you have the chance to get home from work and they shouldn't still be knocking on doors at 10:00 at night either. The only time trick or treating was delayed was five years ago when Hurricane Wilma came through at around this time. Many people were still without electricity and there were still trees down in some areas so it wasn't safe for the kids to go out.
