Can You and Should You Always Trust Your Partner?

I know the answer should be yes to both but int he real world we all know that's not how it works most of the time. I knew a girl who was married to this guy for 10-15 years. This was only the second guy she had ever been with in her life. Anyway about 5 years back I was talking to the girl and she was telling me how she had found out her husband of all those years molested her daughter. I couldn't believe it when she told me but then it got me thinking this guy had met the girl when her daughter was only 3 or 4 and he had raised her then out of the blue did this sick garbage. So when i hear stories like that it really makes me wonder who can we totally trust in this world other then ourselves. Honest question and I would like to see some honest answers here so people if you got a partner or are married do you really trust them 100 percent? I mean trust them with everything without a doubt in your mind? If so why you feel like you can? Not me....
